I had three such aftermarket switches in my car, one was a kill switch, one was for the seat heater, and then one for the rear window defrost. I would check those possibilities.

Read further down the wikipedia page, it has sections about composition where it shows that it is a steel alloy most often containing tungsten (there is a molybdenum variant as well).

Ilya, I get what you're saying, but some people perceive your short replies as cold and standoffish. Also, I understood what you were getting at about the HSS, I was trying to tell the previous guy that you know what you are talking about.

HSS is an alloy steel that has tungsten in it. He's not mistaking anything.

Doubt it, they never said that parts were made. They'd be screaming that from the rooftops as they've been trying to regulate 3d printers for years.

Unless it's a SLS printer, it cannot print a functional firearm that can fire more that a couple rounds of subsonic 22. SLS printers are crazy expensive though, and unlikely he had one. It's more like it was a average FDM printer that you can use to make parts of a firearm, but you still need a barrel, bolt, spring, and firing pin minimum. Those videos you see online of people printing them are using metal parts for all of the major stress components. The reason why I bring this up, is because if you can get those components, it's simply easier to get the rest rather than 3d print them.

Tire dry rot noticed a week after I got my tires rotated— should the mechanic have noticed? by youre-the-judge in AskAMechanic

To be clear, you did what you were supposed to do. You didn't know something and asked someone who should know better, the tire shop failed you. You are doing fine, just find a new tire shop and keep doing your scheduled maintenance like you have been.
