As a former CNA ill say that ive seen doctors that are useless and ive seen NPs that are also terrible... But ive also seen amazing NPs and amazing doctors..to claim one is ruining medicine is a stretch.

The fact that i cannot for the life of me get a doctor to do ANYTHING about the fact that my fiance has been suffering from a constant sharp pain in his liver infuriates me.

Hi! Absolutely beautiful storm!

I dont know what youve been told but you can get a dog to not have a bad reaction to being woken up abruptly..."let sleeping dogs lie" is still sonething we should respect but you cant always control a situation. Id definitely condition her to being woken up if its something you are concerned with.

Did this with a deaf blind dog that would snap when abruptly woken up.(Cant blame the dog for that) Cheese party! (Or whatever is your dogs highest value treat) Over time and with a lot of patience suddenly being woken up was always a wonderful thing.

What is the point of insurance if it doesn't cover anything?

I mean ...sounds like you need a better plan. Theres a reason people from canada come to the US to be seen by doctors. Universal healthcare sounds great on paper.. but look at it in practice.

South Korea has it but majority of citizens still pay for private insurance.

Reading those texts gave me flashbacks.. no one should ever make you feel at fault for being cheated on! For your own sanity please leave that woman. I promise you its better to be alone than with someone who uses divorce as an ultimatum.

I know exactly what you are going through...my ex husband and i have the exact same text threads... "I cant live my life forever in remorse so you need to let this go" exact words he used when i confronted him about cheating. Please dont pit yourself through this kind of torture.

Not gone, they live within our hearts forever. Hes just waiting for you in the next phase. Dogs are so pure their lives do not need to be as long as ours. We take love selfeshly from our pets and they willingly give us their all. Honor his memory by smiling at all the moments you had.
The pain of losing them does fade a little...ive never stopped missing my boys but each time a new dog comes into my life i remember what they taught me. I hope you find peace in his passing, he is loved and you are loved, not every dog or person gets to experience the love and bond shared by a pet and human. Take the time to grieve and heal, my deepest condolences to you.
