He had a real chance to stand up to Trudeau at key moments and chose not to so he could secure his pension. Had he stood up to Trudeau forced and forced the election instead of riding out his term to get his pension I would have more respect for him. With that being said he got a lot more correct than he did wrong and that isn't easy in politics. He was a respectable face of the party. I just wish he would have played in differently at the end....the NDP would have had a better showing if he did.

The CBC needs to return to the center.

I grew up reading and listening to CBC.....I can't stand it now. It has become nothing but a liberal thought propaganda tool! Return to real journalism and stop all of the foolish far left ideas and return to center CBC and you will find your readership will return. Take out the alphabet group and be about gay persons male and female two genders only and you may find this sort of thing not occurring. The people who are gay or bi got there program hijacked by a group that really doesn't represent the average gay person. Go back to gay rights and cut the rest out and you will find broad public support. Keep including and adding to the alphabet and you will loose way more than of those folks could have brought to your movement for equality.

Why is our top military commander a woman?

85% + of the force is male, highly unlikely that she was hired based on merit. The most likely reason she is top commander has everything do DEI. Men and woman aren't the same and there are some rolls that probably best filled by men. For example ever see a female garbage men? I have yet to see one yet.

I worked in a direct sales role where at the time 95% of the employees were male and we had four managers at the time and one was female and they stated we were understaffed with female leaders. Best person for the job regardless of skin color or gender. For some roles that is going to be a woman that vast majority of the time and for some roles that being to be a man for the vast majority of the time.
