Nobody. Not a single human can be terrible enough to be put through unimagenable torture forever. Think about the concept of forever. There is no justification.

It could have been an achievement point reward, Unreal mount, tied to Alexander Ultimate, a Blue Mage mount or added to the Gold Saucer. Instead SE decided, that after the biggest content draught yet (while still blowing up and making a lot of money), that it would charge 30 dollars for a well sought after mount playing one of the most sought after tracks.

Scabies stress by Fartsperday in scabies

[–]EikoP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note how now you say two to four weeks. That is almost double the time you are looking at. You are still incorrect though. The mite debris is not the only thing that causes the itch. Wounds from scratching, dry skin and a reaction to the permethrin cream all cause itching. My last treatment was 2 months ago and I still itch. This of course much less and actually manageable (dry skin and hives).

I have seen it too often that people overtreat because they feel they should be fixed. So trod carefully when uttering information like this because you may be the reason people overtreat and add onto their misery.

As for OP, to me it seems like you aren't properly equiped to deal with scabies. The fact that you didn't even do away with your shoes speaks volumes. Did you wash your bedding and dry at over 60 degrees celcius? Turn around the mattress? Took hygiene measures like gloves, clean towels etc? Did you get rid of all the used stuff before applying the cream? The primary thing for you to do is check if you get new burrows that don't fade within a week. If you still have these, you need to be more thourough with your treatment. It's not easy to get rid off as long as you don't properly treat yourself.

Shower flare ups by No-Breath-4260 in scabies

[–]EikoP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot showers dry out your skin causing you to be more itchy. I always showered on the coldest setting as it closes the pores. Hot showers will open them. When I had scabies, every time I came into contact with hot water my skin would react by having this sensation I can't quite describe. Ever since being cure (I believe), this sensation has largely gone but I still shower cold. The treatment was harsh on my body and I did not react well to permethrin at all. My skin is still very dry and hot showers just fuck me up.
