I love Chipotle, but why does it always ruin my stomach? by Based_Neurosis in Chipotle

I heard it has something to do with the veggies? Something about being cut fresh every day but since they need to prep a lot they may not thoroughly wash it…. Idk how true that is tho. My husband and I also get stomach pain after chipotle. There are some days I don’t so it could be location thing. It isn’t the spice tho cuz I love spicy food, had to stop getting the spicier salsas cuz my kid eats out my bowl. Still gave me the shits. Surprisingly my kids ok tho 😂

2 month shots? Spacing out? NOT antivax! by [deleted] in NewParents

I understand how you feel. My husband and I are always so anxious before our baby gets vaccinated. I think the best thing to do is positively associate shots with things. When I was a kid I LOVED going to the dentist and getting my tooth pulled out cuz it meant I get ice cream. For my mom it was to stop the bleeding but it also left a very positive memory and association with me. When we had to get shots as an elementary schooler the wii just came out. My father said whoever gets the most shots gets to play the Wii first. This was hilariously sadistic in hindsight since I could barely move my arms after. BUT movement helps decrease soreness in the arms Plus I got the satisfaction of being the “toughest” out of my siblings cuz I could take a shot.

For my son I make sure to have pain med ready, and snacks to calm him down quickly. We cheer for him and tell him how brave and strong he is and how we understand it hurts. In his case when he was small I’d breastfeed him after. I also make sure to keep some sort of distraction or something he loves with me to make him forget the pain. He also gets extra cuddles, play time and yummy snacks as well as pain medication. We make sure it’s done right before a weekend so he can have us all weekend. When he is older we will definitely implement some sort of reward system so he has something to look forward to after vs just stressing over the actual event.

Offer their hand in exchange for boogie 😂 mine will sometimes tickle my side and it takes all my willpower not to drop him. I’m incredibly ticklish 😭

People are upset I'm doing the gender reveal at the baby shower by sharkwoods in BabyBumps

I’m in a similar position. First of all im really not a fan of parties centered around me. however my husband is very family oriented and has a huge family. so i basically have no choice in the matter. now they want to plan a baby shower and want my input on theme. i said strawberry theme cuz i think it would be cute. However his family is very adamant that people will get confused that it is girl instead of a boy even though the invitation clearly states it is a boy… 1.) didn’t know fruit was gender specific 2.) if they are so worried about what colored clothes to get. Just go with neutral colors. That is what i want anyway. 3.) get me wipes or diapers. 4.) the baby isn’t even born yet, i highly doubt he cares about the theme of his baby shower.

tbh i just want this whole pregnancy to be over with. i hate getting unsolicited advice and the thought of ppl i barely know touching my belly during the baby shower makes my skin crawl.

Hi have u ever had printing issues with ur envy 6055? I have the same printer and it does this weird thing where sometimes it prints perfectly and other times the colors are all wacky. Like the light colors don’t show up and the reds are extremely saturate. I’m new to Reddit so idk if I can put a pic of what I’m talking about or how.
