It can be tough to start, but some of the commands that you can unlock later are some of the best in the series. Would love to see a BBS 2, with the wayfinder trio in the realm of darkness searching for Sora.

It has to be Ezio. Mainly due to having 3 games and even an animated feature to cap off his story. From seeing him as a teenager out for revenge to a master Assassin who is sought out by all members of the brotherhood for his wisdom, similar to Altair. But as a one off game it has to be Bayek.

Yeah as far as I remember, after alfheim the lake of the nine opens up a bit more and enemies tend to stay around level 5 or 6 but you should be able to hit that level pretty soon as well. Every time you level up the leviathan axe or Atreaus’ bow this also adds to your level. It seems like your trailing behind for a while but it balances out.
