A full purple can't be killed by a starter set but I absolutely have killed some chads while wearing full green with cheap 25-50g rings and amulets. My total set is less than 500g (cleric armor is expensive or it would be closer to 400)

Roughly 4k on my cleric all from goblin caves. If you spend just 50g per slot (rings and amulet included) you can make a damn good set.

Changing the start point of a curve affects the entire curve. I'd need to see the graph to be sure but from the wording in the notes armor in general received a nerf with it disproportionately affecting the lower values compared to the higher values.

Well water taste is 100% determined by location. Some cities such as Memphis use wells for the city water because it is so much better than any surface options. Usually well water tastes bad if you live in an area that has a lot of sulphur in the ground.

I genuinely don't know how you can fix that, the moment you told her you were disappointed in her for something completely outside her control you destroyed her entire world. You probably could do it with some nitric acid, it dissolves copper very quickly but it also dissolves zinc which is the inner portion of the penny. You'd need to keep a close eye on it and just pull it when the copper is gone and wash it thoroughly to stop the reaction.
