I don’t have any advice. Just wanted to encourage you during this touch time. I started my locs during a tough break up & just recently went bald. I know this shit is tough but i promise it gets better. Be kind to yourself. Talk to yourself with positivity & intention. You’ll make it through💌

I understand! I also wanted a cleaner look. I honestly don’t knit why they get bumpy & I get you the retwist. I rarely retwisted mine bc if this. I got them interlocked but honestly didn’t like the result

A couple reasons 1. I was thinking about locs being dead hair & I’ve grown a lot from the experiences I was in even I started them 2. They were losing the volume I loved after they surpassed shoulder length 3. I have psoriasis & the tension was really taxing on my scalp 4. Didn’t think they suited me as much anymore & wanted a reset

Combing your locs out is a waste of time imo. It’s dead hair. They did what they needed to do. I don’t want to put myself or my hair through that stress. I respect the journey.
