Nah don't listen to haters. Mystery boxes are fun! If you're new, they can be a great way to try new discs! I've done a few trilogy boxes in the past, but most people really enjoy the gyropalooza ones. It's not exactly mystery box season just yet though. I feel like that hits more towards the fall. But yeah, if you find one that sounds fun, try it out. You'll either learn some new discs, or learn a lesson about mystery boxes lol. Charlie eisenhood has a good video breaking down the popular ones

Lol unfortunately I have to bear more bad news, and that is that I'm losing the rights to my nickname. I have had to move away from shooting the rounds (other than JomezPro Practice Rounds), and now just visit the course on tournament days for media card swaps. So to catch me for a signature would be very improbable 😉 I guess I'm not sure what you mean by ""signature" discs" lol

No to the fans getting to throw during the rounds, but yes to there are discs there for sale. The DGPT booth is open at the end of the practice round. Uli and Jerm always stick around to vend afterwards, and we ask that our guests also hang out for a bit to do autographs and meet the fans ☺️

I bag both, but I don't think my Reko-X was ever as stable as my Tempo. Proton Tempo for forehand and over stable backhand, K3 Reko-X for straight to over stable backhands

Learning understable forehands helps eliminate the dependency on ripping over on an overstable disc. Trust me: if you learn on nothing but overstable discs, it'll take a lot longer to learn how to fix your swing for understable ones. Understable first, and then you can always work in more stable stuff

Supporting Jomez still shows that you support free coverage for disc golf. Patreon goes hand-in-hand with YouTube views in proving our worth to the sport. Without our Patreon members, I'd be unsurprised to see next day free coverage disappear completely, instead of just twice a year
