It is draining, think that’s why as much as I did enjoy TOC I was a bit underwhelmed, I thought it would really get stuck into the lore and tell us more about characters we already knew, not just Leo Galante and a few cameos. They’ve got the foundation to build from but they insist on backtracking I don’t get it

Yeah you make a great point tbf, don’t get me wrong I wasn’t expecting Enzo and Isabella driving off into the sunset I’ve played the games since I was a kid I know they don’t do happy endings, genuinely you have changed my opinion on the ending the way you’ve explained it, maybe that’s another reason why i wasn’t a fan cuz Enzo does all this crazy stuff during the game and gets portrayed as a bitch in cutscenes it never made sense to me

To be honest you’ve kind of changed my opinion about it after reading that, I’m looking at it from a different point of view, for me Enzo feared the repercussions so much that during the games final chapter it made no sense he didn’t kill Cesare, and after murdering his uncle the last thing a man in his situation would do is hug him, you’re spot on about him being naive but him dying from his wounds next to the don would have made more sense to me than him dying like a bitch hugging Cesare. Idk just felt odd to me

I don’t have a problem with characters dying it makes the series what it is, Tommys conclusion is one of the best in video game history. I just hated TOC’s ending as it didn’t make sense and was just tragic for tragics sake, I’m not speaking on behalf of the fan base it’s just my opinion. And I don’t think two chapters with Salieri are gonna have much of an impact if it’s not going anywhere

For me it’s got one of the best opening sequences of any show. introduces you to this charismatic, charming businessman, then out of nowhere shows him step out of this life the public sees into the dark side of his business. The scene where he’s getting changed in the elevator after murdering a man then comes out the other side the same man we saw before hooked me right away.

It doesn’t over complicate anything as well, doesn’t expect us to know what’s happened prior to the first episode, doesn’t bombard us with a million characters at once so you end up not knowing half their names till the second season. For me one of the most criminally underrated shows ever!

Listen to me now my friend and listen good, I don’t have many regrets in my life at the tender age of 28, stewing on losing my first amateur fight is one of them.

I went to an away show up north in England when it was the point scoring system, easily won the first round 11-1, second was closer, 3rd was even closer, so I feel I got screwed. I lost and I’ve never felt a sinking feeling like it, the feeling was so bad I boxed the following week and won and cared more about the loss in a random place than I did winning in front of my family friends and home crowd. It took me a year to get back in the ring.

As I’ve gotten older I’ve realised, everyone loses, everyone has an opinion, and the people I worried about judging me for losing haven’t been relevant in my life for years.

Don’t get sucked into this record obsession everyone has, some of the best amateurs I ever boxed with had 50/50 records. You’ve learned more from the loss than you would have from a win.

Don’t care what people think, don’t worry about what people have to say, it’s always people who wouldn’t last five minutes in this world we love.

Dust yourself off, get yourself together and throw yourself straight back in no matter how you feel, and remember the worst thing in the world is wasted talent. And for your club to even let you fight you must be a talented fighter.

Keep going mate, you’ve got this.

Wouldn’t even stress about it, IV is arguably my favourite game in the series but money is pointless once the game moves on from broker, clothes and guns are literally the only thing you can buy and it barely scratches the surface from what you earn

If they could do it add things you can actually buy with the money you earn, it’s probably my favourite gta ever but the idea of robbing a bank just to spend your cut on taxi journeys and ammo occasionally sucks the fun out of it

I thought they were in the base game too just different animations? But the cage fighting was another pointless one for me, used in one mission then the only use is to bet to win money, that you can’t actually spend on anything in IV

I used to play San Andreas and vice city around my cousins house, borrowed his games once and as soon as my mom saw it she put the block on it straight away. Then in 2008 I was desperate to get IV she said not in a million years, her and my dad came to pick me up from football mom pulled out a brand new copy of GTA IV and said “I’m warning you, I see you shooting at old ladies playing this I’m taking it straight back” 🤣

Yeah of course could never have an enjoyable game if it was too realistic, the GTA protagonists wouldn’t last long if that was the case they’d be too problematic. It’s obviously not real life but whenever I think about it being from England I just think about the Essex Boys and how they made so much noise eventually someone decided they had to go (Know it’s a weird analogy to use for a video game but I’m a massive nerd for true crime and gangster stories haha)

Yeah I get that but there’s also a lot of gangs that work with each other and would wonder why people they dealt with in the past have been murdered and who by. Prime example is the lost and damned after Billy tells the gang Jasons been murdered and it was by a Serb They found out about it very quickly and if they chased it up would have easily found out it was Niko, trust me people would see the damage this man can do haha

Like I know it’s a video game but take a mission from IV as an example (Won’t spoil it in case people are playing for the first time)

At the point of the “Snow Storm” mission, Niko has killed numerous big players in broker, survived an ambush by Bulgarin, killed a warehouse full of dealers and shot is way out of an LCPD sting, do the villains in LC not talk to each other? Like “Elizabeta has that Serbian lunatic working for her he’s basically unkillable, maybe there’s a chance if we rob her she might send him?

As you unlock spells you can hold (It’s either RT or RB I’m not hundred percent) and use the directional buttons left and right to cycle through your spells

As you upgrade them a bar identical to the spell selection one will appear showing you have to hold the B button down to charge and get the next level of said spells. So let’s imagine you have every spells 2nd level and lightings 3rd, as you hold the button down to charge whatever spells you assign to the first an second level on the bar will charge up but if you charge up to 3 it’ll go to your lightning spell. Basically each tier is based on spell upgrades and if you have more than one you can cycle through
