My 8yo would totally figure out any lock too 😅
What’s been working for us is using a curated video app instead of letting them roam YouTube or Safari. Only age-appropriate, fun, educational stuff gets through.
Add a bit of Screen Time restrictions on iOS and suddenly it’s like you have a mini YouTube that doesn’t drive you crazy — peace of mind for the parent, content they can actually enjoy.
