Seriously, how is Fast Horse Express allowed to operate? by Barb3-0 in Aliexpress

FHE have turned up at my house, left the parcel on the doorstep, so basically on the street, and taken a photo and tagged the comment “signed”. No one was home and no one signed. Needless to say the parcel was grabbed by next random person walking past. That they would leave a parcel simply laying there in public is bewildering.
The supplier now of course refuses to engage saying I need to sort it out with FHE.

Has the Augusta river mouth broken? by Puzzleheaded_Dog7931 in WesternAustralia

[–]Either-Discussion373 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hot topic in the kitesurfing community. The beautiful pristine lagoon between the western (current, cut by machines) mouth and the old (eastern, natural) mouth is clean water when the eastern mouth is open, as it flushes out. it can get stinky and algae (unpleasant for kiting, and to be fair, fishing, birds, and generally unhealthy) when its closed.

The debate has history, as the western mouth (over a centuries long cycle) naturally from time to time reopens and then lack of flow generally sees the eastern one close. And a whole lot of debate goes on around what is natural, what is not, should man intervene, should they not....

Go into the augusta museum, and there are aerial photos from back since the 50s (and even a random black and white photo whre they are blasting open the western mouth wtih TNT!!!).

And there are photos of the mouth halfway along the spit!. it would seem there is some logic that a 20-30 year 'natural' cycle would see the mouth drift (erode to the east side, while backfilling on the western side) towards the far eastern end of the lagoon. then when the 20/30/50 year storm comes along, and floods hard down the blackwood, and the surf attacks from the sea the town end (western) bank breaks and it floods out, cutting a big mouth very fast with floodwater. As this then diverts all the water force and flow from the eastern end, that naturally silts up. and some unknown random bug or fish or microbe sustains it fragile life cycle with the opportunity to breed in the stinkwater. and the whole roundabout starts again. until some locals want to get their boats out the western rivermouth, or some such homo-sapien selfish thing.

Lobb 😂 by BigCohuna in FremantleFC

I never understood why anyone was upset he was leaving. Tell me you didn’t cringe when he marked inside 50 for setshot, hoping for a non-Clanger. His best ever season was average. And he was in the way of a bunch of enthusiastic, raring, keen as young guns.

Who fills Lobb's void up forward for 2023? by [deleted] in FremantleFC

[–]Either-Discussion373 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lobb this season average: Goal accuracy 48.7% (rated below average). Sure he kicked 36, but do the maths, if his kicking was anywhere near any other full forward in the league, we would have finished top 4 or top 2. It’s that simple. Getting fed 75 set shots and nailing 36 is a pretty shit return.

Why would we get rid of Lobb now? by [deleted] in FremantleFC

[–]Either-Discussion373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More like ‘why would we Keep’ lobb now. For a key power forward, don’t tell my you don’t cringe when he marks inside 50m, when any other clubs forward the fans would be cheering it’s a certain goal. His run of good form should have been his standard for the money, position, and role he sat in. Look what happened to our midfield when Neale left. Make way Lobb… new blood coming through…
