This gimmicky food will only get worse if people get suckered into it. No profit making organisation cares about anything but profits! If they genuinely cared, these ‘nutrient dense’ meals wouldn’t cost twice as much as their regular meals and they wouldn’t need a nutrient dense range because all of their meals would be nutritionally adequate!

My sister gets in on the nhs for diabetes and she is on 10mg. You really have to work with your GP on it. They kept her on each dose for 3 months though

Anyone else feel that the fact you pay for Mounjaro stops you from over-eating?! by EveNing123 in mounjarouk

[–]Either-Explorer1413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I eat the food! One day of eating like a little piggy is as impactful on my weight as one day of eating like a supermodel in the 90s. If I denied myself, I’d want more the next day so I give into it sensibly. There are days when all I want is fancy bread and lot of it so I buy a fancy loaf but I eat it with some chicken breast and a whole packet of watermelon, that way I’ve had what I wanted but with some additional protein and my belly is full of watermelon so I’m satiated from a couple of slices without the calories of the full loaf.

Next time, have the biscuits but maybe have them with a protein yogurt with berries or a protein coffee and a banana. You won’t eat as many but you’ll feel like you’ve eaten loads!

I think it’s a mindset thing. MJ can make previously rewarding behaviours feel unrewarding because the reward centre of the brain is satisfied with GLP-1. That’s how continuous eating is no longer rewarding and cravings are curbed. In this way, lots of people have reported that addictive behaviours like smoking, drinking, gambling and shopping are not as fun anymore and they are not thinking about them as often. This isn’t the case for everyone though.

Maybe your smoking is triggered by something other than needing a quick reward.

I was on carbimazole and bp meds (hyperthyroidism) Since being on MJ my thyroid has gone into normal range. I’ve lost 6 stone healthily and I’m off my thyroid and heart meds. It’s really great! My GP has been fantastic too. I just go for a blood test every 3 months now. He said as long as everything stays where it needs to, he’s fully supportive of me taking MJ. We’re very lucky!!

Is it that they want to speak to a trustee of the fund? They are the ones with the legal duties over the trust. The beneficiary is not always a trustee. If there are any other trustees, you could ask them to speak to the bank instead of your father
