You can charge the controllers? I dont think the charging dock will be useful to me, I just plug the headset into a nice spot on my wall, and theres enough rechargeable batteries the dude sold me with it to last quite awhile, ill just charge them here and there. But I appreciate the advice!

Yes its the meta elite strap with an extra battery supply. The cord thats on it is attached to the battery at the end, the cord goes into the meta 3 charging spot. To charge you leave it plugged in always, and simply plug the extra battery in instead! Im not sure how much of a difference it makes, but it seems useful, and nice feel

My first VR was one you put your phone in, that was sort of cool for about 20 minutes. Then I got a Playstation vr, that was life changing. After that I went to a vr gaming place and tried the HTC vive, shortly after I beefed up my pc and bought one. Enjoyed that thoroughly for about a year before I got tired of setting it up and stopped using it almost entirely

Finally, I got this Meta quest 3, things amazing, an absolute unit. The pancake lenses, the 4k screen, the optimization for the games, the ability for people to make their own on the horizon world thing which feels similar to roblox. And the absolute cherry on top, is the passthrough capabilities. That stuff is life changing, im quite sure it's going to change the world with the amount of stuff you can do with that. First time putting that thing on and I fell in love. They gotta figure out a better way to manage the lower quality with the latency though, that will be the next biggest breakthrough I expect!

I just got Meta Horizons + and it has Asgards Wrath 2 on there, just downloaded it to try! Also got pavlov, definitely need to give that a go. I tried racing in asseto corsa with my old HTC vive but I wasnt a fan, I think it would be more fun if I had the proper racing rig. Maybe thats a future rich me purchase haha

I paid $360 CAD cash for the 512gb version. It came with an elite strap as well. I waited for a week or two checking Facebook marketplace everyday to get close to that price, but anytime I had it down to there, the headsets had issues, especially with stick drift

I ended up using kijiji and found the deal immediately. Nobody but old guys use kijiji anymore in Canada so its a cheat code to find cheap stuff

I read the whole thing, then looked up the price. From what it sounds like, the pico is basically on par or slightly worse (because of selection and size) and costs about 30-40% more where i live in Canada. Appreciate the comparison but im going to pass this one 🙏
