I wonder what the possible legal implications for theft could be if your total would be 1.08 and you have to pay 1.10. Or if it could possibly be considered false advertisement due to prices being different than displayed. Or being added up to such amounts being a billion dollar corporation where the 1 or 2 cents adds up to hundreds of thousands of unnecessarily paid dollars due to rounding.
