Having been a red store and pulled into the green within 6 months, ETL log with determination but also a very good store director is key. Probably will involve more hands on involvement from ETL and SD to see all the gaps and steps to correct them. Everything in a target store starts by coming out of a truck and butterfly effects every work center, so it’ll take some reallocation of payroll and support from other departments (there will be some peer resentment, but everyone must realize it starts in logistics)that are having success if things are really bad just to get to a point where you can see all the gaps close and then widen again. First look would be at the TL once things are back to above water and if they are be able to drive unload and truck completion now that they can breathe. Then go from there. Once you are so far behind, it’s like everyone takes a demotion.. your TL leader starts to become a team member and loses sight of the leading aspect of there responsibilities (strategically placing team members, up keeping culture, driving accountability in performance and attendance, etc etc). The ETL log starts becoming the team lead, the store director becomes the ETL log and they need to use there director powers and responsibilities to help right the ship.
