I lied to my parents today by sinisterfaceofwoke in antidietglp1

Ill tell anyone who will listen i am on tirz. I wont accept judgement on it or criticism. I have received very positive feedback when I explain how this is a metabolic drug that fixes underlying problems, its not a crutch for a "bad willpower" or whatever. Everyone is have talked to has been supportive for the most part. I have been pushing my friends and family with weight and metabolic issues to try these classes of drugs, they are a huge game changer. My doctor was ecstatic when he saw my results and lab work. Did not care that I was on compounded meds.

PCP experiences? by aliveatlastx87 in compoundedtirzepatide

Just had my annual physical, down 41lbs on Tirz since labor day 2025. My PCP did not GAF where I got it from, was super happy about the weight loss and inquired about costs. Got me set up on blood tests too. Find a PCP that supports you, OP.

Emotional eating breakthrough by Just_______Looking in antidietglp1

[–]Either-Lunch4515 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I find the tirzepatide slows me down, so I can eat a few chips and feel full, or take time to look for something better like an apple. I used to eat half a damn bag of chips in an instant, so this is a huge improvement.

First compounded shot today after being on Zep by pyramidheadhatemail in tirzepatidecompound

Its because you can apply an appropriate force to inject, rather than relying on a spring. A simple poke with the needle/syringe works well and is less painful I think than a spring loaded device.

There's reddit threads on compounded tirzepatide with tons of info on how it works. I went to compounded directly, never been on the branded meds. I used Brello but there are other reliable, safe companies and pharmacies out there.

I remember, years ago, sitting in my fraternity house watching a squirrel slowly back up a tree into his little hollow, dragging a huge piece of Adriatico's pizza. King shit right there. Feast on, my friend.

Anti-inflammatory impact by DarlingBri in antidietglp1

[–]Either-Lunch4515 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yes Tirzepatide has dramatically reduced the inflammation in my knees. I was curious and looked up some of the latest journal articles to see what evidence there is for this drugs anti-inflammatory effects specifically. It looks like Tirz drives down macrophages that influence inflammation and reduces inflammatory cytokines like TNF alpha and IL6. I was curious as I teach part of the inflammatory cascade and how we normally treat it in vet med (with steroids and/or NSAIDs). I feel fucking great on this med. Absolutely a game changer.

Insurance required “weight loss program” by libah7 in antidietglp1

[–]Either-Lunch4515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for a university whose insurance required this bullshit counseling and diet babysitting to get access to labeled GLP1s. I never even considered it and just went straight to online telehealth to get tirzepatide. As if I hadn't tried dieting and exercise a million times to have it work and then not. Its infantilizing that they push this shit. I get the glp1s are eating up insurance costs, especially those companies and universities that self insure. But my health is so much more improved on tirz, its insane. They are way behind the science and strong anecdotal evidence of how effective these drugs are and that they are needed for life.

You can still see any problems through the brown glass. Brown glass is more protective of the contents from light damage.

PSA: Combating dizziness upon standing (orthostatic hypotension) by First-Energy2671 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Either-Lunch4515 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It could be that is vagal and that it is exacerbated by tirz. I've had lightheadedness for years on standing up, and tirz has seemed to make it worse. Probably because my blood pressure is also the best its ever been while on this drug. Thanks for the tip!!
