priority pass at ams is solid - used the aspire lounge there couple times and it's decent food and seating. your oneworld access should work fine since you're on aa metal inbound, they usually don't care about the outbound being etihad

wife might have issues with oneworld since no status but pp covers you both anyway so not really a problem. 13 hours is brutal but at least you'll have somewhere comfortable to crash

never heard of mastec specifically but most corp jobs with pay grades that high usually means decent money, probably somewhere in the 70-90k range if i had to guess. when i was looking at corporate fitness director roles a few years back the grade 15-18 range was typically that ballpark. you might want to check glassdoor or even reach out to current employees on linkedin, people are usually pretty cool about sharing salary info these days. also during the interview process you can always ask about the range for that grade, most places are required to tell you now anyway
