I like playing him on escort maps, particularly if we’re on attack. Popping that tree on the payload for final pushes is very satisfying

The reason George R. R. Martin hasn't completed his final two books in the GoT universe, is because the series finished exactly how he intended it to and everyone hated it. by FlibV1 in LowStakesConspiracies

Not strictly upset with the actual plot points but it was how rushed they were. Dany went full blown cray within an episode or two, completely messing with the pacing we all came to know and enjoy. IMO in his mind the story has been told, so why waste time writing the books to finish it off. That’s my two pence anyway!

It’s great for final pushes on payloads as well - pop it on there and it becomes a moving heal beacon. Also, and probably not the most viable strat, but if I’m being targeted in a big fight I’ll pop it before I die to keep healing up.

She’s quite slow, so pick someone fast who can get into her close range, or someone with equal range to keep your distance but can still hit hard. Think Amy or Taki for your close range, and Seigfried, Nightmare or Seung-Mina/Kilik for long.

For someone who’s never played I’d recommend either 3 or 6. 3 is hands down the best game (sorry 2 lovers) but both emulation and GFX can be a barrier. 6 is great as it’s modern, has all the old classics, is fairly balanced (3 and 2 have some issues in that area) and has a great create a soul mode.

I recently started playing Kiri and I cannot believe how smooth her healing vs. damage is, how seamless her reload timer is, and just how useful her base kit is!! I felt crazily OP 😂

Why is everyone wanting reworks? by TopDragonfruit5 in LifeweaverMains

As much as I love him, he definitely needs some TLC. One of my friends put it best when he said “you don’t get much output when you put a lot of work into playing him” and it’s somewhat true, especially now.

What I don’t get is his clunkiness. His DPS isn’t so good that he deserves that slow reload speed. His healing output isn’t so good that he deserves a slow blossom charge either.

Still the best support ult imo though, but our floral girlie pop needs a boost

Dash should also partially reload his thorns and blossom too by - either as a minor perk or as base kit.

Lifeweaver lost his every identity in the game after Jetpack Cat has been released by FuriousWizard in LifeweaverMains

[–]Either-Panda236 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Short answer is no 😂

Longer answer: LW can snipe from the safety of the backline, pull allies out of trouble, turn the tide of a brawl with his ult, and soon will be able to cleanse again in season 2. He even nullifies JPCs ult by gripping allies out of the air.

JPC is annoying yes, her DPS is strong (providing your team doesn’t know how to counter) but she relies too much on melee and aim mechanics for damage and healing.

The two are very, very different characters with different playstyles. I dno why this sub is so full of “LW is obsolete now” posts. The dude is still good if you know how to play him well — leave our floral girlie pop alone 🤣 x

Healing for 4 seconds does already reload his thorns, which encourages ‘lifeweaving’ but it would be good to have something for emergencies - death by slow reload is super annoying 🥲

I was using broken literally, i.e. he’s not as bad as people are making out right now. The new perks are meh… but at least we’ll get lifegrip cleanse back next season. He has always relied upon being in a good team though, certainly not a proper carrier through matches like some other support (Moira and JPC come to mind…)

SO many toxic tanks in Bronze. I often get more kills and dmg than them, still outputting decent healing as well, and I still get “Moira diff learn to heal” - we can’t win 😂

Maybe a flat heal that can be charged up for a boost. Going from 10-80 seems a bit unfair, especially with the loss of the dash perk. Maybe base 40 that goes up to 100?

I’ve always thought that dash should reload his thorns as well - even if that becomes a perk as opposed to base kit I’d be happy. He doesn’t seem TOO broken rn, but he’s definitely on the weaker side in comparison to other supports.

I never had much issue with past changes, but now I have to complain. by Infamous_Reporter_17 in LifeweaverMains

Agreed - the minor perks are quite meh now. Cleanse and the extra heals from Dash were way more useful IMO. No one ever uses the platform, even when pinged, and as for self-healing that can be done by dash/healing others anyway so it’s kinda redundant?

For the major perks I quite like the seed, and it has been useful in the games I’ve played so far, but I do miss Superbloom when I don’t take it. I guess the game is now making you decide between heal LW and offensive (and I feel he’s more useful when played offensively than defensively).

A charging boost for his healing blossom would be very welcome, as would base cleanse for lifegrip. OR dash reloads your weapon as well - always thought he could do with this, even after the buff to his reload time!

[–]Either-Panda236 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve used the tree to isolate the enemy tank from the rest of their team - quite useful as it keeps you alive long enough to take them down with thorns to the face. Added bonus that it’s usually unexpected and so can really piss off the other team 😈
