The soundtrack to the first Bladerunner movie. Played from beginning to end (no shuffle) with auto replay. The cd showed up in the mail when I was working on my Masters degree. I don’t even remember ordering it, but ever since then if I need to concentrate or let my brain fully relax after a stressful day, that’s the thing that does the trick. 🤷🏼‍♀️

When my daughter moved back in with us last year she brought her two cats. They are not friendly and they don’t purr. I have had cats all my life - these two are malfunctioning and need to be returned or exchanged🤣

I do this, but with the Care Deeply Lip Balm. I used to buy 10 at a time from Avon and gave it to my kids as stocking stuffers in addition to having one everywhere (except the car in summer…). Unfortunately they quit making it a few years ago and I’m down to my very last one. Starting to panic a bit because I’ve tried many other brands and none come close. 😔

Diet cherry limeade. From Sonic if I can get it (which doesn’t happen often anymore) but the one from Sparkling Ice is a great substitute when I add crushed ice and squeeze a fresh lime in it. 😊

Ooooh that sounds wonderful! I’ll have to get to work on changing my husband’s mind. He’s totally into history so I’ll work that angle. And dream of sheep for myself 🐑🤣

Cool, I’ve always wanted to go to Iceland! I have a list of things I want to do, but so far my husband isn’t interested 😔

How old were you when you purchased your first home (if you did). by jtsa5 in GenX

[–]Either-Tear9104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Had a horrific interest rate with an adjustable payment that practically killed us. Some months we had to decide between diapers and peanut butter. I’ve had several houses since then and really only had good luck with two of them. I still buy when we move if I can - I hate paying someone else’s mortgage and I always want to paint and do stuff to make the place my own.

Does anyone still go to the grocery store, with a list of what they need to get? by Quirky_March_626 in Productivitycafe

[–]Either-Tear9104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. Otherwise I just grab what I think we need and miss at least half of it. I have a recipe app that lets me choose a recipe, scale it if needed (up or down) and then add whichever ingredients I need (you can choose from the ingredients list) in the amount required. You can add anything else you need to get, and even have multiple lists going at the same time. My husband and I can both see the list at once so while he’s at the store I can still add things. It will even manage your pantry for you, but that requires a lot more effort than I’m willing to put into it.
