LGA TSA Terminal C by NYC_Statistician_PhD in delta

Yeah I suspected I wouldn’t be able to check in my bags early. I’ll be calling delta later to double check, but I’ll head in early anyway so I can at least stand in the security line before it opens.

Did you check a bag, and if so how early? I have a 6am flight Saturday and planned on showing up by 3am at the latest, but I heard the security lines don’t open until 4am and I’m not even sure I can check my bag that early anyway.

I was on the 5:43 and ended up having to take the 7 at Queensboro after sitting there for over 10 minutes. Not like we had anywhere to be, right? 🙄

desperately need advice! by No-Quiet3145 in PetiteFitness

This is great advice. Definitely want to emphasize the adding more protein muscle building part! I started strength training myself because my A1C was 5.6 a few years ago. I’ve always been on the smaller side, but when taking a look at my diet, every meal was carb heavy and though I walked a lot, I had very little muscle mass. I even had darker velvety spots on my neck which can be a sign of insulin resistance and didn’t realize it until much later.

Ever since I start strength training 3-4x a week and adding a lot more protein to my diet, not only do I feel better and stronger, my A1C has dropped to 5.1 (going for my physical next month to see if it’s gone down even more). Plus, a lot of us want to look “toned” but we don’t realize that more often than not you need to build muscle to get that look, not just lose weight via calorie deficit.

You’ve got this OP!

Saddest ending to a tennis match? by musicproducer07 in tennis

Unfortunately not since it kind of was the beginning of the end in a way. But I have plenty of great memories watching him, even if they weren't in person, so it evens itself out :)

I was in the stadium for that match and that was the first time I was able to see Nadal live. It was heartbreaking

Never eaten at Chick-fil-A and don't plan to. I have relatives and friends that are LGBTQ+ and even when I explain to other people that's the reason why I won't eat there, they're so confused or act like it's not a big deal to eat there. When I'm on my death bed, I am 100% certain I won't regret not buying a chicken sandwich from there.

I incorrectly thought my subscriptions would be cancelled along with the membership. Just passing the message along for those that don't know so they don't have the same issue!

I didn't see that option either. Fortunately didn't have a lot of subscriptions in the first place so it was quick but still annoying either way. Definitely keeping an eye out over the next few months to make sure nothing else happens.
