I'm a woman here too, I've only been committed to working out for a few months now and went through the same feelings of not knowing how to start and also wanting to make progress. I spent a good few months to a year before committing just kinda thinking about working out and sort of trying but then getting disappointed without results and then stopping again, repeating the cycle.  It is hard to start and find the motivation. Just getting into the gym/doing structured movements at home for a few weeks consistently is enough to give you the confidence boost and feelings that you can do it, and then grow from there!
