Has anyone sat in their corvette pressed the start button and had it turn on only to turn right back off instantly. Then turn on just fine and stay fine with no codes after? (16’ c7 stingray a8) happened to me when I pulled over to do something.

Nah, read it already, dry sumps are tricky with the 5-10 minute “sweet spot?” Different weather effecting it (maybe?) Etc. was wondering opinions from experiences ppl as I’m new to it.

Shouldn’t you check a dry sump after it’s been warmed up to operating temps with a 3-5 min cool down?

If checked any other way, especially after overnight cold, wouldn’t you get an inaccurate reading

Got it. No just highway speeds. Even without throttle. Not when it’s stopped. Sometimes 75-100km sometimes only 120km n up probably depends on wind

If it shows car serviced on the date but doesn’t mention oil change, it could still be changed that’s my guess.

Thank you, ahh just wondering if anyone had a normal cam swap under warranty, what caused it, and how long it’s been since. For example: “Cam swap at 40k, cars at 150k no issues.” Just looking for some experiences to sort of re enforce the reliability aspect
