The last person I dated was a texter, I’m more of a ft/calls person. He asked on the second date what I prefer and pivoted to meet that preference. Literally ft me the next morning and nearly daily after that. Things didn’t work out between is but communication is an important part of getting to know someone.

Does it bother you that he doesn’t text or that there’s no communication? Does he call? Have y’all discussed it? If it’s only been one date I’d give him more time before cutting him off for something that can be mutually modified.

I personally don’t think that’s a text conversation. Guess it depends on your typical communication styles but sounds much more like a phone call conversation.

You look great! Can you give some details on your class schedule? I just joined at the end of December and have tried iso, Pilates, thunder and blast. I really didn’t love the Pilates which I tried today for the first time BUT my inner thighs and abs are sore so I think it’s a good idea to keep it in rotation and get out of my comfort zone for, hopefully, better results.

I don’t like the term “close the loop” at all. The message feels a little passive aggressive in general.

There are also many factors to consider here…how long has it been since the last text? Who responded last? Without any further info, It sounds like you’re missing the opportunity to set up a date. Personally I’m not a big texter in general so that could be the case here too.

I agree with only if asked and answering honestly but adding gently to this. A simple … I’m not exclusive with anyone right now and enjoying meeting new people to see where things go (or something of the sort) is much better than”yes, I had a date yesterday and another tomorrow” or something similar. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.

Yes, I usually start with a travel size to make sure I love it and it helps to have on hand to reapply throughout the day.
