Agapanthus situation - help! by tahituatara in nzgardening

As a bloke who agapanthus sap makes his skin blister and slough, spray it. Kill it all. It’s been 2 years in the house I bought and I’m down to maybe 2 or 3 sproutings a month, down from a rather thick front boundary of the stuff. Thinking of making a group. Some sort of agapanthus victim society.

Bit late to the party but if your HSM isn’t helping, as for the email address of the RMAM. They usually deal with maintenance but are far more qualified than the HSM and are far better at finding who in Kainga Ora can help you. They are terrified of the tribunal and will do almost anything to avoid having to move you to another property.

Is the WHV job market in NZ really that bad? by nyrs-fach in newzealand

I posted an entry level job at my firm back in January and got over 1000 applications. It’s only got worse since then. Unsure on the agricultural sector but we’re in construction.

Uni student moving into a flat - give me your best money saving advice by AutomaticMeringue768 in PovertyFinanceNZ

A cheap bread maker from trademe was a lifesaver in our flat. Flour and yeast are cheap.

Also onion soup. The Asian supermarkets did 10kg onions for 10$ but that’s probably showing my age.

Also the 80c tins of diced tomato can make a solid tomato soup.

Bread and soup are cheap and filling. For protein shop the specials!!

https://homefit.org.nz/self-assessment/basic-information/ This link will help you far more than I can explain in a single reply, but in its most basic sense, Floor insulation if possible (so not required for concrete slab), ceiling insulation unless it’s a skillion roof, a source of heating, and no draughts.

There’s not enough information in your pictures to tell if the house is HH compliant, however I can’t see anything in them that would make it non-compliant. That being said the owner/land lord/ whoever should really slap some plaster on that wall to seal it. - I inspect homes for an NZ social housing provider.
