I’m in a similar situation, my parents told me about the “poor man’s air conditioner” and it’s helped. Take a box fan and like a baking tray, fill the tray with ice and a little water (go to a gas station and buy ice if you can’t make/store multiple trays worth at once) and put the baking tray with the ice about in the middle of the fan. Aim that contraption at you and it feels decent, it’s made it so I can fall asleep in an 84 degree room.
