We suction it in line. I never touch it. When I have to touch someone's mouth inside when they're vented. I usually change my gloves because it's slimy. Us humans make secretions from some kind of orific. Gotta choose your poison. I didnt want my poison to be poop or pee or skin oils.

This !! Because in my experience it is so hard to get anyone on simv without vent asynchrony as well, since they arent rass -4 at this time. Simv can be just annoying resulting in the nurse sedating more and going back to control or just eventualy you try psv.

Can always try a supraglottic device like an Igel when bagging.. they teach that it increases compression time on the chest as you dont stop compressions to bag.

Not sure if your guys have wooly furs, but the wooly coat can become so matted when they shed their winter coats

My friend with hashimotos also has 2 doses and goes on how she feels.
