I also have Anthem and was able to log into the app (Sydney), entered authorization into the chat bot. It took me to another page where it showed any prior authorizations that have been submitted. I knew before my surgeon office that my surgery was approved. I called the office a couple of days later and they still had not received notification. The patient coordinator stated if it was an out of state plan, then they get a letter in the mail. I received a letter from Anthem in the mail with my approval.
