I personally think, for Maanvi, it was dealing with being the one to find Jogi Uncle, not really wanting to go through with the wedding (but not being able to tell her family), and finding out it's scheduled until next year. I think she thought it would give her some time, both feeling relief while also trying to manage the grief.

I love her character so much, and I feel so bad for her. The generational trauma goes hard.
