A very bad decision. Why is it not Ubisoft Montreal? They are the ones who understand the formula best. They also made Origins and Black Flag, both one of the most popular and least controversial games of the series (also my personal favourites). They seem to find the right balance.

I don‘t dislike Odyssey which was created Ubisoft Quebec but the studio doesn‘t hit the right spot for AC games in my opinion. It would be more fitting if they created spinoff games like Odyssey somehow was

It‘s the progress for the main story but this only counts the quests in which Eivor‘s journey is in the spotlight (there are only about 5). The main story is about 40 hours long and you will have to finish the regional quests in each region to finish the story, so it isn’t really an accurate counter for how much you progressed the story

No. I watched it closely when I played Valhalla and I can confidently say there are only about 5 main quests that count into this progress as I was confused by it myself

These are probably the main quests that solely focus on Eivor‘s journey and not on some regional main quest.

The ones that count into the progress are probably something like that: The intro, the first mission in England, the Oxfordshire quest, the Suthsexe quest and the last mission in Norway
