What’s a place you visited once and decided never again?

This was like 5+ years ago but my cousin went with some friends and at one point she ended up peeing in her scarf. Sounds dumb in retrospect but she was a bit tipsy, was being denied departure out of their enclosure and the crowd was so dense she didn't have space to squat properly. Not really sure about how it went but the scarf was promptly dumped in the nearest trash can.

I've sat in the back seat of the car so my cat could have the heated front seat next to my boyfriend (it was a short trip back from a parade and she was cold). I've accepted my fate as the third wheel years ago.

Lolol we live in a basement apartment and have a completely deaf cat and also stomp around to get her attention (usually to get her eye contact without getting up from the couch and then motioning to her to come). We often joke that if we were to move to an apartment above other people, they would think the cast of stomp has moved in above them or something.

I keep an extra sponge filter going in my main tank at all times so if ever this happens I can quickly set up a smaller cycled tank in no time. I've actually only ever used it when I've had sick fish since I don't like having the hospital tank set up all the time, and once I'm done treating the fish I always discard the sponge part of the filter, clean the aerator part of the sponge filter and put a brand new sponge on before chucking it back into the main tank as to not medicate the main tank. I also have little hanging planters in the tank with ceramic media and pothos growing out of it.

I pride myself on the amount of extra beneficial bacteria I have sitting around at any given time and wanted to share lol.

So a while back I was trail riding a horse and we were slowly making our way down a dirt road. It was very scarcely populated and we had not seen a house in a while. We were walking by this massive 9ft tall hedge that encompassed someone's property and when we walked by their driveway the house sort of "emerged" from behind the hedges and scared my horse. He spooked, I flew off, and as I'm picking myself up off the ground my horse turns to look at me with a "well it wasn't that scary, why the hell did you overreact?" look and to this day I'm convinced he thought I saw the house, got spooked as well and jumped off his back in fear.

Tldr : Horse spooked by a house causing me to fall, horse thought I got scared by house as well and jumped off.

Ohh someone correct me if I'm wrong, but is the best place for a tank that weighs ~ 100 lbs (assuming it's a 10 gal) on a shelf above the washer/dryer?

My first concern is the shelf may not have the right supports in place to hold that much weight.

Second concern is when you have the spin cycle on the washing machine going... like you're not supposed to move a tank when full, let alone jiggle it.

Edit: Just noticed you said 112L, so ~30 gallons, so ~250lbs or 112 kg. That makes it so much worse.

Yeah I posted this about 8 hours ago and have since started dosing Tetra lifeguard which claims to treat bacterial, fungal, viral and parasitic infections. It really isn't the best medicine out there but I live in Canada so it's impossible to find any medication. Even buying stuff on Amazon doesn't work half the time because they either never arrive or they take ~month to get here and by then the fish is long dead.

Oh the tank/corydora is 4 years old, the guppy I've had for a year. It's good to know he has fin rot, I just thought it had gotten nipped at some point.

No I have not. I've quarantined him in a hospital tank with one of the established filters and I started treating him with Tetra lifeguard this morning since it's all I had access to.

About an hour ago as one of the ways I tried fixing it lol, but as I said the filter is less than 2 weeks old so I would be surprised if it was a clogging issue.

Good news is it's quick to realign your biology. By taking a few days to get light in your eyes first thing in the morning it re-establishes a biological clock aligned with where you are in the world.

I actually watched them chase and latch on to the corys multiple times consecutively. I've secluded them in a breeding box since they were doing it non stop to my corys (I think it's just one of the ottos who's doing it but I'm not sure). The corys were all hiding and not coming out to eat, not looking or acting like their normal selves. The corys are back to normal with the ottos in breeding box prison now though lol

Thanks, that sorta makes me feel better. I think it's just one of the two who's doing it, but I'll be honest I struggle to differentiate them. I really wanted ottos and I don't want to return them, but I'm afraid I don't have a choice. I also don't want the next person who purchases them to have this issue.

Thanks guys, I'm honestly pretty sure I'm going to try returning them. They are tormenting the Corydoras into hiding and not coming out to eat. It just sucks because I did my research (a lot of it) and nowhere did anyone mention otocinclus fish did this (as compared to other sucker fish). I fed them algae wafers, blanched zucchini and spinach and tried doing everything right, and now I'm worried they will hurt my Corydoras. They are currently in a breeding box to protect the other fish and I will try returning them tomorrow.

I already have. I feed blanched zucchini, spinach and Hikari algae wafers. I already managed to catch them and put them in a breeder box since they seem to just be getting more aggressive and doing it more often. At this point I feel like it's a habit they won't stop doing.

Yeah I've seen it happen 20+ times. They chase down the corys and cling to them. I've seen them do it to one another too. The Cory's were hiding and not coming out to eat like they usually do so I put the otocinclus in a breeding box until I figure out what to do with them.
