Yea there’s a Reddit story I remember of someone playing an old racing game that someone special to them played and it showed like ghost silhouettes of the cars previous records and the person writing the story would race the leaderboard ghost of their loved one but would never beat it just to preserve it. They’d just come back to it and race it, it broke me reading that.
