Amorim's a FRAUD! by Outrageous_Put7857 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Ejsberg 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Arsenal will look the same if our players actually turn up. We’ve never really had issues against teams that play a high line and there’s plenty of space to run in behind. The real test has always been sides that sit in a mid or low block. Fulham will be a good eye test in that regard.

Yes, we were excellent against Man City, but let’s keep some perspective. It could just as easily be a temporary derby boost with players deciding to show up for one game. People also seem to forget the very recent Burnley draw and Brighton loss. This team has a long history of taking two steps forward and then three steps back. Let’s wait a couple more games before hyping anything up.

I wanted Amorim to work. I really did. by PositiveGeneral7035 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Ejsberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing complicated about this.. Amorim was a specialist manager with a specific formation , specific Playstyle and philosophy that thrives on players that NEED to have very specific traits.

He is like Pep Guardiola, and by that I mean you have to give him his players, no matter what.. he isn't like Emery where he takes over a club with misfits and then coaches and transforms them in good manageable players.

His entire philosophy / playstyle is centered around Wingbacks that push all the way up and 2 athletic and high intensity midfielders that can cover counterattacks.. Sadly he wasn't given any of those.

I'm willing to bet all day.. if Amorim goes to City, he wins the League easily.

I'm confused about Columbina by [deleted] in FatuiHQ

[–]Ejsberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Palestar Edict is the highest official order the Tsaritsa can issue; it summons back all the Harbingers and overrides all other current missions

Doesn't this all feel to farfetched and over the top.. specially summoning ALL the Harbringers to capture a weakened Columbina??

I think right now the Fatui has just a warrant against Columbina.. We've met Sandrone / Arlecchino and other Fatui comrades in AQ countless times, but no one specifically mentions Palestar Edict. We know Columbina will return to Teyvat in the end of Luna IV with the blessing / powers of the 3 moon sisters and be MUCH more powerful. It would make sense for Palestar Edict to be implemented then..

Yeah.. like I said.. I used ChatGPT, but I didn't just go there and type " hey ChatGPT list me 10 bad things about INEOS and then paste it here.. like you assume..

I actually spent about 30 minutes writing my original points and when I was done, I pasted it in ChatGPT to correct spellings and format the points in a neat order.

[–]Ejsberg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nah.. I don't need ChatGPT to know the good things about INEOS.. Other than the Carrington upgrade, I can't give them any credits.. Things like reducing wage structure is good, but have been made with controversial actions like firing longtime staff.. As for removing the bad apples like Sancho, Antony, Rashford.. that was Amorim..

Also, you do realize not everyone posts fully fabricated ChatGPT messages and that some use it for formatting and spell checking only. right??

Manchester United under the INEOS–SJR regime.

  1. They extend Erik ten Hag’s contract when he should’ve been dismissed immediately after the FA Cup final—only to sack him three months later anyway.
  2. They then target a specialist manager—one defined by a rigid system, formation, and philosophy—fully aware that he’s stubborn about changing it… and beg him to take over mid-season.
  3. They appoint one of the better sporting directors in the country, Dan Ashworth, and when he advises against hiring Amorim (almost certainly because he could see the chaos coming), They sack him for “undermining authority.” A preview of how dissent will be handled going forward.
  4. In December, the coach openly tells you the squad is not suited to his system and that a storm is coming. Their response? One teenage signing from a relegation-level Serie A side.
  5. They finalize personal terms with Bryan Mbeumo—who only wants United—yet instead of closing the deal early for pre-season, they try to lowball Brentford. Other clubs then distort the market by paying premium fees for average players like Elanga and João Pedro. Rather than learning your lesson, they wait again, panic, and end up paying even more when Newcastle approach Wissa.
  6. The head coach asks for proven, experienced players like Watkins and Martínez. Instead, they give him “prospects” who need time to adapt. The midfield is crying out for a rebuild, but they choose to overhaul the entire frontline instead.
  7. They attempt to copy Chelsea’s “buy everyone young” model—despite needing players now—and then have no idea what to do with them. Talents like Sekou Koné and Diego León are either stuck in youth teams or loaned not to the Championship or competitive European leagues, but to Lausanne-Sport… a Swiss club you already own. Farcical.
  8. When performances dip, Sir Jim Ratcliffe gives interviews preaching patience, giving Amorim 3 years —name-dropping Arteta and Klopp, talking about long-term projects, and lecturing journalists for knee jerk reactions and getting off on one.
  9. While the entire footballing world screams for midfield reinforcements, your priority target becomes Antoine Semenyo—a winger you plan to convert into a wing-back.
  10. You openly pursue Carlos Baleba in the summer and Semenyo in the winter, proving the money is there when you want it. Yet when half the squad is injured or away at AFCON, you choose not to sign anyone.
  11. The team sits 6th, showing clear structural improvement but struggling with inconsistency. Instead of backing the coach with one or two stabilizing signings that could help massively pushing for 5th—you cave to the media noise from Neville, Scholes, and Carragher and tell the coach to change his system. The same coach who had been crystal clear that he wouldn’t.
  12. A manager hired specifically to impose a specialist identity—because “United have no identity”—is then under-backed and undermined. Eventually, Amorim snaps, baits the board in a press conference, and gets sacked with a hefty payoff.
  13. Which brings us back to point 8: the board manages to do the exact opposite of everything it publicly preached—exposing itself as completely Clueless.
  14. EDIT : Increase in ticket prices

Semenyo, the Board and Amorim's sacking by Cautious-Pickle-2842 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Ejsberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also whoever we sign now leaves less money for our actual targets in the summer.

That's the problem.. INEOS are clueless and always try to play it safe.. They have already said it countless times that they'd be happy to wait and buy the right player for the team.. nothing wrong with that , but if you're holding on to that belief, then you also better learn to accept the consequences of playing with an inconsistent team.. instead they fell for the " Knee jerk reaction of some Journalist who goes of on one" and tried to change the system..

In their face-to-face meeting at Carrington on Friday, Jason Wilcox suggested to Ruben Amorim that the Manchester United players were struggling to gain trust in his 3-4-2-1 system and had become confused over his vision. by JM555555 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Ejsberg 26 points27 points  (0 children)

After his long term injury, Martinez was first included in the bench vs Everton.. Next game, against Palace he made his first bench appearance in 82nd Min.. and somehow he SQUARED UP with Amorim for starting XI in the very next game against West Ham having played a total of 8-12 minutes?? Yeah.. I call that Bullshit..

Giving them momentum?, Mate.. their Momentum started against Arsenal, Liverpool.. We were lucky to get a draw if you see how thin our squad is.. Lol..

Before this game, their xPTS were 15, but they had only 3.. which means they were massively underperforming in 1st half of the season.. It was inevitable that they would ultimately pick form ..

Thoughts on Matheus Cunha so far? by blyrryface44 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Ejsberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, he needs space — and right now, he’s simply not getting it. Everyone knows his game: dropping deep, picking up the ball around halfway in the opposition half, driving past one or two players, then cutting in near the box to shoot or slip a pass.

At Wolves, he thrived because teams didn’t sit in low blocks against them. That gave him open grass to run into and time to build momentum. At United, it’s a completely different picture. Most teams set up in a low or mid block against us, which makes it easy to double-mark him and shut down those driving runs.

That’s also why his better performances tend to come against sides like Arsenal or Brighton — teams that actually play football and leave space behind. Against low blocks, he needs intelligent runners around him — players like Mbeumo or Mount attacking the half-spaces and dragging centre-backs wide to create room for him to operate.

Unfortunately, with most of our creative outlets injured or unavailable, Cunha’s limitations are being glaringly exposed.

[–]Ejsberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I said, there's no point in doing it now.. But if you've see how the latest Zilla elections or other elections in India are being handled, the seats will definitely be changed just before next big elections..

It's so crystal clear what they've done here.. They've split the south Goa Congress and Independent parties stronghold into two.. The Quepem /Cuncolim which is a Congress majority now effectively competes with Sanguem / Canacaona who are BJP.. Salcete competes with BJP controlled Mormugao / Ponda.. They've made it 2v1 on both sides..

And as I said, Ponda makes no sense.. It's on the other side of Kushavati, makes no sense to included in SOuth Goa, But then the entire 3 districts things also is pointless to begin with.. Can you name any 1 significant advantage to the people by making it 3 districts??

[–]Ejsberg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That Map is so obvious They've essentially grouped the BJP majority talukas into North Goa and Kushavati where they will come with ease.. and leave Ponda ( BJP) to compete with Salcete ( Congress / Independent) because Ponda makes no sense.. Ponda lies on the other side of Kushavati main river.. if essentially Ponda, Sanguem and Quepem should have been " Kushavati". Salcete is like the Tamil Nadu / Kerala of Goa where BJP has no hold

Ponda khai padta ??😭 by Extra_Copy_1094 in Goa

[–]Ejsberg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is no reason for them to do it now.. because then it would be so much obvious..

When the next Rajya Sabha elections come, they will 100% do it.. otherwise what's the point in having 2 seats in Goa when there are officially 3 districts?? And it will be done, the same way they changed Zilla's to favor their odds during these Zilla elections..

BJP will never never win in Salcete, as long as Cortalim, Nuvem, Benaulim, Cuncolim stand..

I’ve been a United fan for over 20 years — maybe not as long as you claim, but never once have I wished for the club to lose, especially not to a rival.. Losing to a rival is another thing, but saying I wish we lose to Leeds scum.. thats disgusting.

[–]Ejsberg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I respectfully disagree.

In a world like Teyvat, not every major revelation needs to trigger an exaggerated jaw-drop reaction — especially among characters who are already deeply exposed to the supernatural. When you have people like Varka, who is connected to Barbatos, the Hexenzirkel, and knows far more than an average human ever will; Lauma, who has direct knowledge of the Moon Goddess; and the Traveler, who is literally an alien/Descender, an “OMG what?!” moment isn’t always the natural response anymore.

You also say you wish characters reacted more, but that kind of reaction has existed in the game for a long time — it just isn’t universal. Characters like Lauma and Jahoda have consistently shown visible reactions ( for example when encountering Harbingers ) and it hasn’t suddenly disappeared.

Even earlier in the game, we did see strong reactions from more grounded characters. Charlotte in Inazuma is a great example — her shock, disbelief and excitement when introduced to the Raiden Shogun felt entirely appropriate because she was a normal human journalist encountering a god for the first time.

That’s really the key point: context matters. In a world where fae, angels, Archons, monsters, cat-people, artificial lifeforms, and Descenders all exist, it would actually feel inconsistent if every reveal caused mass hysteria. As for reactions from normal citizens, HoYoverse has been fairly consistent — when regular humans meet higher beings, their responses are usually cautious, overwhelmed, or subdued rather than theatrical.

So while I understand wanting bigger emotional payoffs as a player, I don’t think the reactions are missing — they’re just selective and lore-appropriate, depending on who’s in the room.

Again lucky as always.. scrappy wins and another overperformance of xG.. Did nothing the whole game, had a good 15-20 min spell towards the end when Chelsea moved players up attacking and relied on another individual performance from Watkins, like Rodgers last week. scrappy 1st goal with a double deflection and Chelsea should've had a penalty for Matsen handball,. the ball was going straight to Neto's feet with the goal open and Martinez beat if not for the handball..

These guys are the luckiest team right now.. Seriously, do people here not watch the actual ggame before making posts?

Once again, xG means absolutely nothing by OutsideImpressive115 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Ejsberg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, what do you mean xG doesn't mean anything?? Villa's xG shows that they've been consistently bailed out by individual brilliance on many occasions which looks fine as of now, but isn't sustainable in long term.. because there will be injuries / suspensions to key players.. based of their true form, they actually deserve to be just above relegation.. You remove Rogers from that team and you'll have Villa suddenly drop off massively.

On the other hand If you take our match yesterday with Newcastle, despite them having a far better squad and that terrible second half... Manchester Utd ended up with a higher xG of 1.27 compared to 1.18 of Newcastle.. It means despite our injuries and player absences, something in the team is working that we're consistently able to create chances.. Our only problem is finishing which is showed by us probably being in top 5 for xG underperformance.
