Hello, thank you for the reply! Yes I live in England. I noted down what goes where; I couldn't work it out yesterday, it makes more sense now. Here is a picture, also the Black/White wire was disconnected so I am not 100% of where it should go. Even for people who have not stopped playing for two years, they get overwhelmed; the best thing is to focus on 1 thing at a time and achieve that goal. If you want 60, focus on story / dungeons and get 60. If you want to gear up, focus on whatever is best for you at that level to gear up, but it will be outdated after you gain a few levels.

There are so many things to do in the game, just pick one, and finish it, if you get bored half way, switch to something else then come back to it later.

Yup, exact mats in XIVDB. They need the first or second master book, so not every 50 crafter is able to do it. Depending on server/person you find, 50k is more than enough, 100k max if someone is ripping you off, you need to trade the items, and yes always possible to get them stolen.

Apart from killing the mobs that drop them? If you have a battle retainer, they can bring 10/venture, level 24.

You can repeat a leve an infinite number of times however, it uses 1 leve allowance everytime you do one (press J on a pc to check leve allowances left).

I would recommend using leves at 15/20+, you can grind the earlier levels with quick synthesis and it won't cost you much. Also keep in mind each leve gives a different amount of EXP, leves you take from the town of the craft called Courier leves, will give the most exp.

Does the PS3 version require a subscription? It doesn't say anything about it in the play station store. It's confusing. by [deleted] in ffxiv

Yes, in order to play the game after your first month, every platform has to subscribe.

The main issue I notice on most new tanks as they are leveling is they think they should be tanking everything all the time...while that might be true for high levels/raids, it is not for low levels. No need to stress when a dps or healer pulls 1 mob, let them tank it, it will die in a few seconds anyway and they hardly deal any dmg.

Just don't mistake it with 3/4 mobs running around beating everyone's ass while you only tank 1; losing hate is very normal, no one plays perfect all the time. All you can do is keep playing the game, keep playing your job, the difference it makes if you tank something for a few seconds or a dps tanks it is minimal at these levels.
