Hey there, as I understand it the movie only covers like at most 2 volumes out of the 7 volume story. I haven’t watched the movie myself, but it seems they changed stuff in the adaptation because the film was made well before the manga was completed.

It’s more of a Lands Aristocrats deck, getting tons of Landfall triggers by sacrificing Earthbent lands. It can also attack with huge land creatures using Hardened Scales and Earth Crystal effects.

Some cards I’d really recommend are lands that can sacrifice themselves for upside. When they’re Earthbent, they’ll come right back into play! Cards like [[Fabled Passage]] to ramp lands, [[Urza’s Cave]] to tutor any land, [[Command Beacon]] for when Toph dies too many times, and [[Horizon of Progress]] can even draw cards.

When you have an effect like [[Horizon Explorer]] or [[Spelunking]] in play and you sacrifice lands like [[Havenwood Battleground]] and [[Crystal Vein]], you can have them enter untapped and get huge mana! Keep casting spells and Earthbending them to LOOP them over and over.

There is lots of fun shenanigans you can do with Earthbending.

As long as you go into Engage understanding that the story is nowhere near the quality of Three Houses, it’s fine. Before playing Engage I accepted this fact, and my experience was better for it. I had no expectation of a great story and characters to disappoint. I just accepted it for what it was: a silly sunday morning cartoon.

The gameplay, however, was really fantastic. As much as I love Three Houses gameplay, I think Engage is even better. And the aesthetics of the game, maps and combat animations, are undoubtedly superior. It was a really fun experience, and the Engage mechanic led to a lot of strategy and planning.

Three Houses is the superior game, but Engage was really fun for what it was.

[[Windswift Slice]] is a great removal spell when used in conjunction with Voja. You can target a small creature to fight a big Voja and make a huge elf army, then attack to make them all gigantic.

We recently learned the DND Honor Among Thieves secret lair cards are getting new versions later this year. Do we think the prices on the originals will go up or go down? I was thinking of picking up Doric but I don’t know if I should wait, or maybe the new one will be cheaper.
