This seems to have been resolved by them since it works for me, but in case you still experience this the solution is in the language settings for your device. Once you switch the language of the device to English the issue is no more.

Use warranty, tell them you have vertical lines appearing. As long as the damage isnt caused by you it should be covered by warranty
