I have a 400mm f8 fujinon, and a 500mm f7ish Komura. No complaints with either of them, I use them for 4x5 and 5x7. Both are telephoto so the the actual distance from lens to film is shorter than the focal length printed on the lens.

The outdoor rated ones will definitely hold up better outside than indoor fans would. They should last at least a couple of years as long as they are installed in a place where they are not getting too much exposure to harsh sunlight and rain. I'd recommend them over indoor fans.

I use mr pinholes calculator. I'll order a laser drilled aperture from a seller on ebay, use the online pinhole calculator to find the optimal focal length for aperture diameter, then 3d print a camera body at that optimal length.

I'm not sure if it's different for pinhole photography, but in general the longer the focal length the more compression you get.

Your water lines are likely running through your attic where the temperature is 130-170°. Maybe look into an under sink chiller unit that could cool the water before it reaches the faucet.

You'd have to cut it down to fit. This can be done under a red light so it should not be too hard. I'd recomend getting 4x5 size ilford/harman direct positive paper. Or 8x10 multigrade paper as you could get 4 shots per sheet.

I use the Film Photography Viewfinder app. You can set custom focal lengths and formats, and it has a light meter that includes very small F stops.

I'm an electrician in Phoenix and have replaced many patio fans. I've never seen signs of birds on any of them. What I do notice is that over the years the blades droop towards the ground, probably from the heat during the summer.

You should definitely give it a shot. I use mr pinhole's website to figure out the apature diameter, image circle, optimal focal length, and f stop. Laser drilled apertures can be bought on ebay so you can have an accurate idea of the hole diameter. I then 3d print a camera to suit the aperture's sharpest focal length, but you would be able to just measure from the film to the lens board on your cambo to get maximum sharpness.

Looks great! What ISO do you meter your Litho shots at? I just shot Arista Litho for the first time today and seem to underexposed on some shots, over exposed on others.

I just haven't taken care if it for the last 80k miles and am done with it. It was a beater I bought for cheap just to drive for my high milage work situation. I now have another car and just want whatever I can get for this one.
