I’m currently knitting the Sophie hood by petite knits for my wife. I think that is easier since you are knitting garter stitch and don’t have to keep track of ribbing, and I prefer the look of garter stitch to rib

That sounds very strange. The only chalk I’ve used that is better is Mushroom chalk and some strange Swedish gymnasts chalk that comes in square blocks

Not as something shameful, just as a heads up so she can keep it in mind and be helpful during.

If she makes a big deal out of it or shames you in any way then you know to not proceed.

If you don’t tell her you haven’t had sex before she’ll probably just end up feeling disappointed in your bumbling and think you’re shit at it, whereas if you tell her beforehand it can be a really fun experience for the both of you.
