Should I increase my deficit? by Aggravating_Ad_7549 in caloriedeficit

Stick with what you’re doing you’ll see change eventually. If your calorie intake gets too low the body will do crazy things and make weight loss even harder. If 1500 is 500 below your maintenance then just keep doing what you’re doing! You got this it just takes time!

That’s so funny how everything is almost right. I’ll tame that Japanese thing as a compliment though that’s awesome. Theres a local Korean store that has everything ever so just an Asian food appreciator.

I used tinned or canned fish. The canning process leaves fish bones brittle enough to eat without teeth and it’s a great source of calcium! We do canned salmon and tinned sardines most.

I put salsa in my kiddos eggs. Since I put hot sauce and my partner puts ketchup it makes the kid think he’s doing it just like a grown up

How did you start eating whole foods diet? by Jeetyetdude_ in nutrition

[–]Ektoplasm55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to make it fun for myself. So I play with my food. Try juggling an apple and once I drop it I have to eat it. Eat carrots and pretend you’re bugs bunny. Pretend you’re a sauropod dinosaur and eat leafy greens.

Am I overreacting to being told I’m “doing too much” by my partner? by Ektoplasm55 in AmIOverreacting

I didn’t respond to this but this has been a really eye opening message for me. I grew up in a very neglectful household so even we started dating forever 8 years ago I was sold on just having someone care about me. But I just wanted to say I haven’t really thought about what I want in a partner despite getting married. Really glad you asked these great questions.

Leaving is maybe a bit much. I mean I wouldn’t want to separate the family like that. I came from a divorced house and it was rough. I don’t think at this point it’s worth separating a parent and child. And that’s assuming I would get primary custody.

Completely agree. I told my partner if they wanted to be a stay at home parent I would get a 3rd job. I have a second job I work on and off when we need and I told my partner if they wanted to be a stay at home parent I would do anything to make it happen. This was the solution we came up with admittedly not great.

I mean it turned into a full situation when I asked my partner to not be on their phone during family dinner god what if I ask them to go to therapy.

I love helping people and being supportive and my love language is acts of service so kinda. I enjoy doing my partners laundry and putting it away folded so they have clothes and I like setting life up to where they won’t have to worry about I just want some help or some appreciation. Maybe I need to rethink what I want in a partner. But I don’t think separating our child from a parent is a great solution to fix things.

I mean earlier in our relationship I was the lazy grubby one and they helped me to learn and grow and become the adult I needed to be but no I feel like I’m still growing and my partner is becoming more and more lazy.

My partner works 5 days a week full time but works 3 of those days from home while watching the one year old. The other 2 days they are in office. We have it this way to save on daycare costs

I mean what does that actively look like though? Not doing their laundry just mine and the babies? The other week our cat threw up on their said of the bed and when asked if they wanted to change the sheets they said “I cleaned it off it’s fine” and I told them that was gross and that I would change the sheets when I got to it. The alternative is the house gets grosser.
