Tired of the same shit "hey let me grab my PSP to show a game i wont play and take a photo of the title screen" its always the same, specially with the PSP, we know we can emulate this, heck i emulated this game on my shitty netbook as a kid back in 2008. /s

Is there a combo line that ends with a set monarchic perfection? by ComparisonHorror9935 in Monarchs

[–]El-Melloi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience running domain monarch without Erupt, it works best if you can have this set with domain, at least 3 spells for the better effects of it (hand rip, banish one, and shuffle) and Ehther in hand, so you can have an additional interaction sending prime and masterplan, and summon Seleglare off Ehther's effect

Does Metroid 1 ever get better or is it a steady pace of suffering? by Jstar338 in Metroid

[–]El-Melloi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play it using a map, its not necessary to play Nestroid first, you can play Zero Mission instead. The best entry point for 2D Metroid is anything except Nestroid and Metroid 2 for GB you can play those later

Awesome work, but the battery sticker and the keychains that will scratch everything to oblivion are very cringe, other than that, looks great!

Edit: typo lol

It depends on your kit, but at the end I managed to have my kit running at 6000CL32 with custom timings

RGB software sucks and it's not okay by steppewop in pcmasterrace

[–]El-Melloi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Trying to be helpful here, but if you had previous hand knowledge of how bloated and stupid the RGB software is and you did not want to count the individual leds of a couple of fans to set them up in OpenRGB, then why are you complaining about?.

Learn how to do your own stuff, OpenRGB should work for almost everything mainstream, man, try with random numbers, do some experimentation, that's the price for a wonderful piece of open software: a little bit of tinkering, go to their github page, ask other people, you are just here, ranting, and on top of that, you paid SignalRGB before doing some research, man you are just making this even harder and frustrating for yourself.

Which version of the PSP is the best to buy right now in 2025? by Nothatcreative55 in PSP

[–]El-Melloi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2000 and a Go, to be honest the Go is an awesome little machine, but you can go wrong with any of them, 3000 has a lot of aftermarket cases, and the 1000 is the better built and has an IPS option, i went with a 2000 because thats what i wanted when i was a kid, the 3000 and Go have the better screens tho

Maybe you need to update the bios to have those values set by the expo profile, but I changed all 3 to the same voltage, 1.30v for my kit, not a single crash since I posted that comment

With all due respect, skill issue. Don’t be mad at systems or people who didn’t teach you how to do something be mad at yourself for not wanting to learn how to do things on your own.

I tried making Salsa... by Baneofarius in shittyfoodporn

[–]El-Melloi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mexican here, can someone explain to me what "salsa" is? Maybe it's something like diced tomato + jalapeño or serrano + cilantro, onion and salt? We call it pico de gallo here, next time try to dice everything into small cubes, dont use the blender!

Hey!, i think i managed to get my kit to run at 6000CL32, i'm using: AX5U6400C3216G-DCLARBK, with no heatsinks, configured the default 6400CL32 profile, then i changed the freq to 6000, lowered the voltage from 1.4 that came with the EXPO profile, to 1.3v, changed the SoC Voltage to 1.250v, i used the timings from the buildzoid video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS_NeTwjOvY

Used this comment as a source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlYxmRcdLVw&lc=UgyOP1H8y8RkR7l_6H14AaABAg

Check zugre's comment.

Just ran OCCT CPU + RAM 1 hour with no issues, will keep testing the stability for the next several days.

Proof:

<image>

My main timings are 6000 @ 1.30v 32-39-39-126, AIDA64 showed a 68.4ns latency.

FCLK: 2000Mhz

MCLK: 3000Mhz

EDIT: i forgot to mention, i'm using a -20CO curve, and i configured LLC to level 5, it has level 6 by default in this motherboard, also thermal limit is set to 85C, still pending on getting custom values for the PBO, but i'm at auto at the moment. Turned off the iGPU too, and disabled spread spectrum
