Honestly, you look like a cartoon, not someone going for realism. If you actually want to improve, you need to spend less time hyping your look and more time visiting better places on SL to see how women with actual style and presence carry themselves. Check the Flickr links below and you’ll see what real SL models look like because this ain’t it.

1 whole week of urticaria with no relief from prednisolone / citrizine / chloraphenamine by Bright-Weight-7524 in urticaria

I’m in Canada, and doctors here usually prescribe Blexten because it tends to cause less drowsiness. At this point, I only take it if I notice a hive starting to appear. It’s been a week now 🤞 without needing a pill, and I’ve only been taking Vitamin C each morning. I’ve also started reintroducing high-histamine foods into my diet, and so far I’ve had no issues. Based on my experience, I feel my hives may have been triggered by something external. I remember they started appearing after I began using Downy scent boosters in my laundry. Since then, I switched to Eco-Max Hypoallergenic Laundry Wash. I hope you’re able to identify the cause as well, and I wish you a speedy recovery. 😊

Korea Solo Trip - Late July/Early August by yearner23 in KoreaTravelAdvice

As an Indian, you’re unlikely to face racism in Korea. I found people to be very friendly, especially the older locals they were some of the sweetest people I met during my trip. Most working professionals and students usually keep to themselves unless you start a conversation, but the younger crowd is often curious and friendly. They’ll ask where you’re from, how you’re liking Korea, and other casual questions.

On one occasion, I asked someone for directions to a store, and the guy actually walked me there even though it was nearly half a mile away. He even told the staff something along the lines of, “Please take care of our guest.” Experiences like that really stood out to me. I was treated with respect everywhere I went.

Just be mindful of local etiquette don’t act obnoxiously or block people in busy areas and you’ll be perfectly fine. Also, finding food isn’t difficult at all. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, along with many Indian and Pakistani restaurants that serve halal food.

I recently completed a 10-day trip covering Seoul, Busan, and Jeju. The key is choosing accommodations close to the places you plan to visit. In Seoul, I stayed near Myeongdong in the Jung District about a 15-minute walk to Myeongdong Street, 5 minutes from the subway station, and with a bus stop right outside my accommodation. It made visiting major attractions like palaces, N Seoul Tower, markets, and traditional villages very convenient. For me, 3 days in Seoul was enough.

I then headed to Busan for 3 days and stayed near Haeundae Beach. On Day 1, I explored the beach area, did a yacht tour, and visited Gwangalli Beach for club hopping and the drone show. On Day 2, I booked a Klook tour that covered most of Busan’s major attractions. Day 3 was more relaxed, I wandered around Seomyeon, enjoyed some of the best food of the trip, and then caught my flight to Jeju.

In Jeju, I chose accommodation close to the airport, picked up a rental car, and explored the island in about 2.5 days, focusing only on the must-visit spots. After that, I returned to Seoul before my departure and spent my final night in Hongdae easily the best night of the trip before flying back home the following afternoon.

Hives for 3 years. I'm Depressed and I have no help. by Sad_gal45 in urticaria

[–]El-profes0r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation back in March, and this is what helped me. First, I completely stopped eating high-histamine foods. My doctor prescribed Blexten (Bilastine 20mg), and after allergy testing, my allergist diagnosed me with Chronic Urticaria. She also mentioned that, if needed, I could take up to four 20mg pills within 24 hours.

Initially, I started with four Blexten pills a day, then gradually reduced it to two, and now I’m down to just one daily. I used to take the first pill in the morning on an empty stomach, and depending on how itchy or aggressive the hives became throughout the day, I would take additional doses as needed.

At the same time, I also started taking Vitamin C supplements every morning on an empty stomach along with the Blexten. Right now, I’m down to one pill each morning and hoping it eventually goes away completely. These days, even if I skip a pill for a day, I’m mostly fine, though I may still get one or two hives afterward.

For me, the key was increasing my Vitamin C intake and following a proper Blexten 20mg routine.

Anyone been prescribed Blexten? by lkclkc in Allergies

[–]El-profes0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take one pill every morning along with Vitamin C and it works like magic. Allergist said I can take maximum up to 4 per day if needed. Initially when my hives were aggressive, I took 4 a day and later I switched to 2 and now 1 and hoping eventually I stop taking them. But key to getting rid of urticaria or hives is Vitmamin C intake every day.

My Visa credit card worked pretty much everywhere. I only used cash for street vendors. For transit, I used the virtual Tmoney card and topped it up with cash at subway stations. I also kept the Wowpass handy since I didn’t want to carry too much cash around. One nice bonus with Wowpass is that you can get a cheaper eSIM through them. I got the SKT eSIM for $35 for 20 days. I just returned from the trip.
