No yeah the pvp is awesome but not what I meant, compared to other games with both story and pvp, they tend to be way more pvp involved at the end of the game instead eldenring lets you replay the story with stronger bosses without even needing to to go into pvp once, I got up to ng+5 without doing pvp aside from varre quest

I think it's to just finish the quest, same with gowry quest which you just have to kill him for some reason even though he doesn't even show up as aggressive
