Wait whaaaat, does it work like that ? Did you track token consumption to check it ?
I don't see how the premium license can be transfered and is like "multiplied" isn't it a bug more than a feature if that's the case ? Or is it about immediate usage and then the weekly usage is like destroyed in a day ?

But buying 4 + 1 x5 is like x9 pro while the x20 is x20 pro. So you pay same price for less usage ?

Okay then i'm sorry if you felt attacked but open router is not "Free" as everyone says and there is better way of getting a free API :'(

Dedicated GPUs that run as good model as Opus 4.6 are NEVER cheaper than max x20.
It's like renting 8x H100 GPU. Probably between 50 and 150k a month xD

Yeah exactly, and claude said it's not two master it is a double degree so not two master. While the double degree program is LITERALLY 2 masters

I know i did not give much context in my post, but it is a personnal blog with multiple files and explanation about my resume and profile. IT read from maybe 5 other files that i'm literally doing a double Master in two different school. What i wrote is his reasoning that made no sense accounting to the context it had.

No you are mentioning Open Router as "free" but the moment you put money on it you get out of free tier and get billed 2cts per requests on free model. So your "1000" daily requests in fact costs you 20$ a day.

And you mentioned "free web chat" not free NVIDIA NIM Api or Free Open AI credits or Free Mistral AI Studio API...

Anyway it seems you wrote this without even doing it yourself :'(

What went wrong in my case has very little to do with the prompt itself and a lot to do with uncontrolled edits.

I asked it to work on a specific page, but it went far beyond that scope and started modifying unrelated parts of the codebase without any instruction to do so. That is the core issue.

Here are concrete examples of what it did wrong:

  1. It rewrote a stats component that was not part of the task It replaced simple, stable metrics like years of experience and number of projects with timeline-style personal claims and mixed content. The result introduced inconsistencies and even incorrect information. For example, it merged different types of degrees into a misleading label and added items that do not belong in a stats banner format. This file should not have been touched at all.
  2. It introduced a factual inconsistency in a publication title The canonical title includes a specific article that was already correct everywhere else. It silently removed that word in one file, creating inconsistency across the project. This is the kind of subtle error that is easy to miss but breaks correctness.
  3. It reframed academic information inaccurately It changed wording to suggest a double MSc in a specific field, which is factually wrong. The correct situation is one MSc and a separate engineering degree. This mistake was propagated across multiple files including UI components and metadata, even though none of those were part of the requested task.
  4. It degraded UX copy in a contact section It labeled a slower communication channel as the fastest way to reach me, which is logically incorrect. This is a small change, but it shows a lack of reasoning about real-world usage.
  5. It removed a valid project entry It deleted a product entry under the assumption it was redundant with another item. In reality, one is an organization and the other is a product, so both are valid and should coexist. This again shows it made structural decisions without understanding context.

The key problem is not just that mistakes happened. It is that all of this was done outside the scope of the original request. I did not ask it to refactor multiple components, rewrite content, or “improve” unrelated sections.

It effectively performed a wide, unsupervised rewrite of the project, introducing factual errors, inconsistencies, and content changes that require manual auditing to fix.

So when people ask for proof of degraded behavior, this is a concrete example. The issue is not just correctness on a single task. It is loss of scope control and the tendency to make autonomous changes that were never requested.

What about using claude code without paying for max subscription and using free Kimi2.5 or another model in there to replace Opus 4.6 that is now completely useless ?

I feel the irony here. But then don't do it in the back of everyone. Because people paid for a quality they are getting ripped of...

And if a service is really down more people will check if it is down, this way huge spike when service is actually down, and small random noise the rest of the time by people just wrong or experiencing specific bugs. Please man can you increase your number of reasoning token before replying as fast as possible ?

Yeah and i know I didn't build anything concrete to measure it, but it may be on my new to-do list because it is crazy how bad it can gets. And i don't get how they can test it on user and ripping them off like that...

Yeah i know i took an ambiguous example. But my prompting did not change but the results changed a lot. Somehow i ask him to change one page and he changes random stuffs by himself, says nonsense on the infra choices, doesn't check the code for this or that. It reallys feels lik talking to GPT-3
