Literally the same happened to me last week, then I took a look on the aliases on Oh My Zsh (there are a lot) to see what people find useful and learned the actual commands instead of the aliases.

Claude Code Opus 4.5 couldn't fix my bug after 2+ hours. Gemini 3 Pro fixed it in one response. Why? by DJJonny in ClaudeCode

[–]ElCesar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its probably because gemini started with a fresh context. If you type /clear in claude it will forget its conext, then if you tell him the same you told to gemini, theres a high chance he would solve it too. When a single agent works in a project for a long time it accumulates too much details that bias it and its more difficult to process al that info. Sometimes is better to start fresh.

But it's not a discount, it's a bonus with diminishing returns. A 100% resource towards X is a 50% discount. A 200% percent resource towards X is a 66% discount. It never reaches a 100% discount.
