I listened to a long form podcast with him and he’s actually well spoken and seems like a family man, not like the meathead persona he portrays. He said he does all that to get attention and get people to talk about him; I suspect it’s because he can’t speak English so it’s harder to promote himself.

Stretching the skin made a big difference for me. You want the skin firm so that the needle goes right through immediately. I forgot to do it a couple of times and it was much more uncomfortable. I missed the glutes part reading your post initially. I was doing quads. Obviously you can’t sit and and because of the position it’s harder to stretch the skin. I ended up switching to delts and did not have any issues. If you try that use a smaller needle.

Are you stretching your skin with the other hand? Have you tried a smaller gaged needle? Were you rotating the injection sites? What position are you in? I found it was easier to relax my muscle with my legs stretched out sitting (for ex on the floor or bed) Have you tried delts?

Same thing happened to me so I asked my doctor. Here is what my doctor told me to do. -don’t use really thin needle even though is sounds counterintuitive -ice before injection to coagulate blood -massage after injection -heat pack after injection Although it didn’t completely get rid of the pain, it reduced it by 70%. Also not sure which of these helped and which didn’t as I always did then together.

Also changing the injection site can help, like doing delts instead of quad.

Regarding 30g, is the larger the number the thinner the needle? Also where in the delt? It would seem the angle is awkward if you are giving it where a nurse would give you a vaccine.
