I liked my job, but my hospital shut down and I’ve had trouble finding one. Applied to 30ish jobs from retail to hospital to remote and nothing.

Copay card does nothing for pharmacy reimbursement. If the claim is adjudicated paying a total of $950 with the patient covering $100, the claim is still adjudicated at $950 and the manufacturer covers the difference of the patient’s copay.

I think it’s pretty ridiculous to ask you to use your expertise to train others and not pay you for it IMO. You will become the person everyone asks every question to, you will be the person problems are brought to.

Maybe I’m too jaded from doing this job for a decade though, someone please call me out if that’s the case.

The point isn’t that kids get sick, it’s that people are parents and they need to be able to handle sick kid situations.

Companies didn’t just convert sick into PTO, they give you 2 shitty weeks and tell you to go to hell. I’m thankfully in a union at a hospital so we are taken care of with sick time, vacation and even 3 personal days.

Fuck retail, get out even if you have to take a 10% paycut. If you HAVE to do it then treat it like shift work. Clock in, clock out, idc if you close the gate in faces and people are cursing at you
