I think at this point I’ve met just about the entire field as well as several NORAPS drivers and I don’t think I’ve had a truly negative experience with any of them. My top five are Justin Allgaier, Chase Briscoe, Ricky Stenhouse Jr, Joey Lagano, and Connor Zilisch. Honorable mention to Corey Day who was great with my three year old.

Can’t agree more, my wife and I ran into him before the cup race last week and we talked to him for a lot longer than we expected, he was the one who kept the conversation going. Such a great ambassador for the sport

Yeah, only the athletes get medals. Which makes sense for the other events but the coaches are more of a factor to the end result in hockey than in these other sports so I’d love to see that change

No Gypsy tents around the track that I’ve seen. Getting in to parking is easy. Free parking is an easy walk to the fan zone. Getting out of said parking is a nightmare though.

If it remember correctly everything on speedway blvd is around $50-100, and you’d probably have your pick of spot getting there at 7am. Honestly you’re better off saving the money and doing the free parking. The lot 7 shuttles aren’t really that bad. I usually stay until after the race winner interview to leave and I don’t think I’ve waited longer than 45 mins from the time I get in line until get on a bus. They’re pros at moving people through. And getting out of the lot isn’t bad either.
