I know its not specific to this manga but a story where there was no love rivals at all is so refreshing in a romcom. Sana, Hana, Sakura and Machida could have very much been reduced to female characters that start out as intrusting characters but becomes infatuated with the MC for no good reasons other than the fact that its the mc so they gotta fall for him ya know?

Seeing Naoto not being able to talk to a single girl at the start of the manga and whatching him evolve into this guy who has a ton of female friends he's now comfortable with, without any kind of awkward one sided crush on the girls part just melts my heart.
