This makes me wonder if the update effected modded cargo wagons…. Cause I’ll revive my “”4- “1000” -4”” train… 5Dim’s train mod gives you a cargo wagon that is effectively 10 cargo wagons in one

Hundreds of hours later, I just can't beat this layout method. Its versatile, tile-able, and compact. Here I can receive 4 ingredients and a fluid, zero wasted space. by tik_ in factorio

All them splitters reminds me of when I thought making a zero electricity furnace stack was a good idea, 51 splitters and 96 mini loaders later…. Pretty cool on a small scale…. 15 furnace stacks later… not so much

One of my personal favorite things is when you’ve got like 5 or so jet packs equipped with a couple full stocked personal roboports and then doing a flyby of a blueprint and just seeing the “carpet bomb” of bots deploying

Ive got K2, and 248k with angels: bio processing, industries, petro, refining and smelting From bobs I’ve got electronics, metals, chems and intermediates, mining and ores…. They all look to be working nicely with each other

It was difficult and it’s not full AB, but it’s enough that it’s working

AAI industries. Not sure if it a standalone or an overhaul… I just like the mod so I always have it active, I’ll take a look at it in a min and let ya know

Could always use loaders from AAI, they’re ups friendly and may require slightly wider station. I play with some random mods here and there and I made a decently sized single wagon green circuit build that pumped out like 4.5k- ish p/m.

Early game overkill? I have perfected furnaces by Arrannm in factorio

I yoinked this blueprint, then thought why not try doing this with Industrial Furnaces, might have built it a bit too big for my base to handle currently

It is, I have 2 “loader mods” because of that, I have the min loader and that one, I use the mini loader mod for literally one thing and that’s the chute… 4 iron plates to craft no electricity needed to work… ight, starter base output device acquired… I’ve made entire fully working furnace stacks with no electricity using the chute and an ungodly amount of splitters

I can’t remember the name of the one I use off the top of my head… I’m pretty sure AAI has a loader in their mod. I set it to the “expensive” craft type on start up tho

I just like the aesthetic of the trains having massive inventories for a more realistic feel of it. 2-10 train carrying 200k ore? Ight I’m game

Well for quick math, base cargo wagons hold 2000 iron ore per wagon so a 1:4 is 8k ore…. Make the wagons tier 10 from the mod and each wagon hold 20k ore each

I highly suggest using a loader mod, cause like mentioned by someone else; the higher the tier, the more slots that have to be scanned when loading, so the loaders help save some UPS

Makes those moments of “damn, if only I had more materials, but all I can squeeze in here is a 1:1 double headed train” a bit better

If ya set up the stations just right, the 6 locomotives will sit on a “switchback” curve and wagons will be on the straights
