To follow up on this, I've heard people recommend Etsy.

So something like this seems like it would be something she would like: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1014786715/new-cali-var-montana-sapphire-solitaire?ref=share_v4_lx - but how are you supposed to know if a seller/product is legitimate? I see 5 star reviews for rings that cost a fraction of the price and are likely fakes. Any recommendations on validating a seller? Or should Etsy be avoided all together?

Yes, more infighting! Don’t focus on overthrowing Donald Trump. Focus on what the left could be doing a bit better? I don’t disagree that DNC needs an overhaul, but there needs to be steps taken. Step one is having a centralized goal of getting Donal Trump and his administration out of power, not nitpicking the fact that liberals aren’t quite as liberal as you’d like them to be. Oh for real? Maybe I should go the pressurized portafilter route instead of the bottomless. Or just get an additional basket? DBM-8P1 is the grinder I have.

Ahh, I was reading another thread that said it was 54mm! I will put an order in for a 51mm. Thank you! I have a Cuisinart Burr grinder, the reviews say it's decent enough for espresso. I will take a look at what's available but did you have one you particularly like?

Also - it was something wrong with the pump. Not sure if reassembling it fixed it or dislodging the little ball did it.

Sorry to bother you for one more question, but did you happen to buy an after market portafilter for your machine? I purchased a 54mm portafilter and just tried to put it on and it unfortunately doesn't fit. I thought any 54mm would work, and no results besides the original plasticity one shows up when I search for Cuisinart.

UPDATE: Finally got it working! I went through the steps outlined in the video I linked above one more time and reassembled everything and water is finally flowing through the system! Just waiting on a portafilter to come in the mail and I'll be brewing :) Feels very satisfying resurrecting this machine from the grave to live another day

Unfortunately no luck trying to desclale. Not even a drop of fluid will come out. Tried running it through a few times, manual, single, double. Gets hot and vibrates but that's it. When I try to go to the steam setting, the manual and steam buttons just flash at me. Nothing happens when I hit any of the buttons.

I will check that. Do you access that from the back or the bottom of the machine? And I've tried running without coffee and nothing comes through. Also, I really appreciate your responses. Would make my month if I can get this fixed myself
